LGBTQ+ and Gender Equality Policy
Cura Advanced Technologies Ltd (Cura Systems) is committed to ensuring that LGBTQ+ employees receive equal treatment and protection from discrimination at work on the grounds of their gender identity and are not disadvantaged in the workplace.
The policy sets out the steps Cura Systems takes to welcome and support trans or non-binary employees and prevent discrimination in accordance with the Gender Recognition Act 2004 and the Equality Act 2010.
Scope
This policy encompasses all individuals associated with Cura Advanced Technologies Ltd. including its employees, partners, suppliers, job applicants and clients. It applies to all aspects of the employment relationship and provides specific guidance for individuals undergoing social and/or medical gender transition.
This policy complements Cura’s Equality, Diversity and Dignity at Work policies.

- Applicants and employees are not required to disclose their gender history or trans status, and all information shared will be treated with the utmost confidentiality in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Employees transitioning socially or medically will be supported with necessary adjustments to roles, names, records, and systems to reflect their affirmed identity.
