GP Connect HTML View on Cura

In recent years, Social Care organisations have taken a huge leap forward through on-line digital social care records, however, vital up to date information held by GPs have typically been beyond immediate reach to Social Care providers.  This is where Cura’s GP Connect bridges the gap!

Cura’s GP Connect HTML View offers seamless access to the most up to date GP records and can make all the difference in delivering timely, well-informed and effective care.  CQC-registered care providers can now securely access an authorised read-only view of service users' GP records within Cura systems.

What is GP Connect HTML View?

GP Connect HTML View is a system that enables a read-only restricted view of a service user’s GP record through accredited systems like Cura’s platform.

St Cuthbert's Care digital step forward

Christine Wright, IT Support Lead of St Cuthbert’s Care, shares how implementing GP Connect through Cura has transformed their access to GP records, improved medication management, and levelled up their overall care delivery.

"Before Cura, the only way we could access the GP record was to obtain the information directly from the GP surgery. We had to call and request the information, which sometimes required several telephone calls and was often delayed. We also tried setting up the NHS app for service users, but that didn’t work for us. So, it was basically a printed copy from the GP that we stored in paper files.

Previously, the manual process could take up to a day to sort out. Since going into Cura, the information is readily available instantly…right at our fingertips."
